Real hope. Real truth. A safe place to land.

Today's students face pressures and opportunities no generation before them has faced. They need more than a place to hang out. Wednesday nights are built for them to learn about God, ask the hard questions about faith and life, and be around other students who will push them toward something better.

That is why Valor Youth exists. It is a place to grow from the inside out, learn real Biblical truth, and find the hope and joy of life with Jesus, something the world cannot give them. They will get that here, along with games, pizza nights, and a whole lot more. The friends your kid makes here will encourage them, not lead them down roads you will regret. We do not take that lightly.

01

Show up at 6:30.

Same door as Sunday. Look for the Valor sign. A leader will meet your student at the entrance.

02

Bible, questions, and people.

Every night opens God's Word, makes room for prayer and the hard questions, and gets students talking to each other, not just to a screen.

03

Pick up at 8:00.

Out the same door. Special nights, outings, and camps are on the calendar below with the details you need.

Dylan González, Youth Resident at Valor Church in Arvada
Youth Resident

Meet Dylan.

Dylan González leads Valor Youth. He joined our staff in June 2026 as Youth Resident, a year-long role where he leads students every Wednesday while Pastor Justin trains and coaches him.

Dylan grew up as a youth pastor's kid, so he has seen up close what a faithful youth ministry can do for a teenager. His desire is simple: raise up the next generation of teens to follow Jesus. Got a question about your student? A hard situation at school? A kid who says church is not for them? Email Dylan. He would rather hear it from you than have you wonder.

What grades is Valor Youth for?

6th through 12th grade. Middle school and high school students meet together on Wednesday nights.

When and where does youth meet?

Every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Excel Academy Charter School, 11500 W 84th Ave, Arvada, CO 80005. The same building Valor meets in on Sunday.

What can my kid expect each week at Valor Youth?

From the moment they walk in, they will be met by leaders who care about them and a group of students who welcome them. Expect games, real conversations, and a night that helps them learn what it means to know Jesus and follow Him.

    What do students learn?

Every Wednesday includes a lesson and discussion from a passage of the Bible, always pointing to Jesus. We pray together every week, and we teach students to make prayer and Bible reading part of their everyday lives.

Does my student need to sign up?

Not for a regular Wednesday night. Just show up. Outings, camps, and some special events need registration. Those have a Register button on the calendar that takes you to sign up.

My kid has never been to church. Can they come?

Yes. Valor Youth is not a club for church kids. Students who have never opened a Bible are exactly who Wednesday nights are for. Bring a friend.

    Who leads Valor Youth?

Dylan González, our Youth Resident, leads Wednesday nights with a team of adult leaders from the Valor family. As a resident, he leads the ministry while Pastor Justin trains and coaches him through a year-long plan. Reach him at dylan.gonzalez@valor.church.

    What about Sundays?

Students worship with their families in the main service on Sunday. Valor meets at 8:30 and 10:30 at Excel Academy. Plan a visit if your family has not been yet.

    Bring them Wednesday.

6:30 to 8:00 pm. Excel Academy. Bring a friend. No sign-up needed for a regular night.
