New here? Here is what a Sunday at our church in northwest Arvada looks like.
The Service
Each Sunday starts with worship, moves into corporate prayer, and centers on a verse-by-verse sermon from the Bible. Services run about 75 minutes. No dress code. Come as you are. Starting August 30, we move to two services, at 8:30 and 10:30.
Valor Kids: Birth Through 5th Grade
Valor Kids runs every Sunday during the service. It is safe, staffed, and age-appropriate for children from birth through 5th grade. Check-in opens at 9:45, 15 minutes before service.
What to Wear
Jeans. Dress shirt. Whatever. You will see both on Sunday morning. Comfort over performance every time.

I’m Pastor Justin McKay. In 2020, a year when everything felt uncertain, my wife, Lacy, and I moved to Colorado, convinced that God was calling us to plant Valor Church. I serve as the pastor, feeling called to take on this mission of preaching God’s Word plainly and shepherding a community that builds bold, resilient faith. Lacy is on staff and plays a vital role in everything we do, you’ll enjoy meeting her.
Valor, from Hebrew chayil, means courage fused with virtue, rising generation to generation, unshakable and counter-cultural, shining as Christ’s city on a hill. We’ve felt the hunger for this kind of depth. Valor is our response, a Bible-anchored church committed to truth, prayer, and real life together.
