What kind of preaching does Valor Church do?
Expository, verse-by-verse preaching. We take a book of the Bible, work through it passage by passage, and let the text set the agenda. The sermon is not built around a topic or a theme we decided was relevant. It is built around what God already said. We trust that is enough.
What does expository preaching mean?
It means the point of the sermon comes from the point of the text. We do not use a passage as a jumping-off point for our own ideas. We dig into what the author meant, what the original audience understood, and what God is saying to us through it now. That is the kind of preaching Valor is built on.

Yes. We preach the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We do not soften what it says to make it more palatable. We believe God’s Word is sufficient for every challenge your life will face, and we preach it that way.
